DABS Extends the Electricity Contract with Tajikistan
The company has extended imported electricity with Tajikistan worth $96 million until the end of 2022.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Da Afghanistan (DABS) officials say the company’s delegation also extended the contract to import electricity from Tajikistan during a recent visit to Uzbekistan and .
“The company has extended imported electricity with Tajikistan worth $96 million until the end of 2022,” said Hekmatullah , a spokesperson for today (Sunday, January 2nd).
Under the agreement, Tajikistan will supply 1.5 billion kilowatts of to Afghanistan by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, the DABS delegation also extended the contract with Uzbekistan for the import of 2 billion kilowatts of electricity worth $100 million until the end of 2022.
On the other hand, the DABS has also discussed various other projects with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
