Pakistan lets India use Afghan trucks to carry aid
Pakistan has allowed the use of Afghan trucks for the transportation of India’s wheat aid to the war-ravaged country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Foreign Office spokesman Asim Iftikhar said on Friday: “It has been decided to allow the use of Afghan trucks for () transportation from Wagah border to .”
He added the decision on permitting Afghan trucks to carry the humanitarian assistance had been conveyed to the Indian ’Affaires.
Pakistan’s decision was demonstrative of its commitment to facilitating the proposed humanitarian assistance, the spokesman commented.
Iftikhar urged to expeditiously take necessary steps for the delivery of the humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
