Taliban District Governor of Takhar Killed in a Roadside Mine
Mawlawi Tayeb has been killed in the Imend village when he wanted to arrest commander Basir who is a commander of the National Resistance Front (NRF).
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_ the Taliban district governor of Takhar province for district was killed by a roadside mine, according to local sources.
The incident took place in the district of Warsaj on Tuesday, November 23, a source told Hasht-e Subh, who did not want to be named.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Tayeb has been killed in the Imend village when he wanted to arrest commander Basir who is a commander of the National Resistance Front (NRF), according to him.
The vehicle carrying the district governor of Warsaj is said to have collided with a roadside mine on the way back from the mission.
Commander Basir has also become injured in the incident and he is currently under treatment in the provincial hospital of Takhar.
