Afghanistan’s acting FM Amir khan Motaqi calls on PM Imran Khan

Afghanistan’s acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Motaq leading a high-level delegation met with Pakistani Premier Imran Khan and his cabinet member in Islamabad on Friday, November 12.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Spokesperson of Afghanistan’s foreign ministry Abdul Qahar in a series of Tweets said that Amir Khan Motaq asked the Pakistani side for further facilitation at and and facilitation for Afghan trade goods’ transit to Pakistan ports.

In the meantime, a Pakistani government statement reads that the government will stand by the people of Afghanistan by extending all possible support including humanitarian assistance to withstand the coming winter season.

Imran Khan pledged to be providing essential food items including wheat and rice, emergency medical supplies, and shelter items for Afghanistan.

The Pakistani Premier emphasized that respect for , inclusivity of the Afghan government, -terrorism, and continued security efforts are key towards stability in Afghanistan.

He also underscored the immediate need to release the assets of Afghanistan and added that Afghanistan’s de-facto authorities will constructively engage with the international community.
