Addressing crisis in Afghanistan, Italy to host G20 summit today
Ever since the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, the humanitarian crisis is looming in the country and the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi is all set to host the special summit of the group of 20 on Tuesday, October 12.

Since many countries do not want to engage with the Taliban or recognize them, the UN will be given a central role in tackling the crisis of Afghanistan and for that, the US Secretary-General Antonio is due to join the summit.
The online meeting is intended to be joined by US president Joe , Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi, and other EU members of the .

It comes two days after the first -to-face meeting between the US and the Taliban after the latter took power.
