Taliban meeting with representatives of regional countries in Doha struggles for building foreign relations
As the Taliban leaders along with their supreme leader Mullah Hebtullah Akhundzada is have wrapped up their negotiations on gorging a set-up for the upcoming government in Afghanistan, the political office of IEA in Doha is holding meetings with the ambassadors of regional countries in the host nation.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Deputy Head of the office, Sher Muhammad Abbas leading a delegation met with the ambassador of Turkey to on Wednesday, September 1.
As per the spokesperson of the Taliban’s political office , Stanikzai leading a delegation met Turkish ambassador and both talked about the ongoing situation in Afghanistan.
Naeem on his Twitter post wrote that the Turkish envoy to Doha pledged to be continuing their assistance and good relations with the people of Afghanistan.
Prior to that, members of the political office had also met ambassadors of India and to Doha.
The fresh round of meetings in Doha which is taking place at the request of the Taliban is apparently their struggle to build relations with other countries as they are shaping government in Afghanistan.
has also shown a green signal when it comes to opening its embassy in Kabul.
Pakistan, Iran, Russia, and Turkey are among the regional countries that have not shut their embassies in Kabul.
