NATO condemns murder of Afghan government media head
NATO in Afghanistan in a Twitter post condemned the assassination of Dawakhan Minapal, head of Afghan Government Media and Information Center.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_NATO commended the late Dawakhan as a committed figure to free information to all Afghans and called on the Taliban to stop murdering those who strongly stand for freedom of Speech and Human rights.
Former Presidential Palace spokesperson and currently head of Afghan government Media and Information Center Minapal was gunned down by Taliban while on his way to a mosque for performing Friday prayer in PD7 of on Friday.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani also called him a true son of Afghanistan who was committed and a strong advocate of the republic and the current system in Afghanistan.
promised to identify and bring to justice the murderers of Minapal.
“The Taliban are targeting the educated class of Afghan society but the enemies of Afghanistan should keep in mind that thousands of youths will be born from a single drop of blood of Minapal.” Said Ghani.
The Taliban in a Tweet has claimed the responsibility for the murder.
