Security Advisory for Indian Nationals in Afghanistan

On Tuesday, Indian Embassy in Afghanistan issued a 13-point security advisory for Indian nationals, who work and stay in Afghanistan, to avoid all types of unnecessary travel and stay alert.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_The current security situation in Afghanistan remains volatile and reports indicate the rising casualties of security forces and civilians in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, Nationals are not exceptions and they also face security risks and threats of kidnapping, reports said.

This 13- point advisory comes days after Taliban and meeting dialogue in , reports said confirmed to CNN- News 18.

The embassy also advised Indians to avoid movement during the peak hours and avoid predicable routes.

The security advisory also advised Indian nationals to register themselves with the embassy or consulates if they have not registered yet or updated their contact details.

Currently, more than 3,000 Indians are working in Afghanistan and working in different sectors, both governmental and non-governmental sectors, according to data.
