Ceasefire comes into force in Gaza Strip
A ceasefire took hold on Friday in the Gaza Strip as Israel and Hamas agreed to halt nearly two weeks of fighting that left hundreds dead and parts of the impoverished gaza strip destroyed.

Palestinians in Gaza could not mark the #Eid_al-Fitr_festival at Ramadan's conclusion due to the #Israeli_airstrike. On Friday, postponed Eid celebrations were held throughout Gaza.
More than 10 days of attacks killed at least 240 Palestinians in #Gaza including 66 children, wounded more than 1,900 and damaged critical infrastructure and thousands of homes according to officials. The clashes began when Israeli regime attacked worshipers in Al #Aqsa_Mosque and started its eviction plans of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem.
After days of Israeli airstrikes people here are celebrating their #victory, saying they keep supporting the resistance in the face of Israeli violations of Palestinian rights.
