Gunmen kill Pakistani anti-terrorism court judge, family
An anti-terrorism court judge along with his wife and two children were killed after unidentified gunmen opened fire at their vehicle in Swat valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_The judge was on his way to the capital of Pakistan when unknown gunmen ambushed him and killed him with his family members.
Two of Aftab Ahmed Afridi’s bodyguards were also injured in the attack and are in very , media reported.
According to media reports, the judge, his 10-year-old son, wife, and six-year-old daughter were killed on the spot, suspects at large.
No group or individual has yet taken responsibility for the incident.
Associated Press reported that Afridi was assigned to Swat’s -terrorism_court, a district once controlled by the Taliban, and where Malala Yousufzai was also shot and wounded.
Pakistan is a country listed in they grey category of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for funding and supporting terrorism in the region.
