Afghanistan Reports 211 New COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours
Ministry of Public Health reported Monday, that out of 1,442 samples, 211 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.
At least 170,855 people have so far been tested in the #governmental_labs, and there still are 8,497 known active cases in the country.
According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 26 individuals have Recovered from #COVID-19, and Four individuals are reported dead.
The new cases recorded in Kabul are 43, Herat 20, Kandahar Seven, Balkh 36, Nangarhar Eight, Bamyan Five, Kunduz 10, Parwan 15, Nimroz Three, Ghazni Three, Logar Two, Wardak One, Helmand Four, Laghman 14, Kunar Three, Kapisa Two, Panjsher 32, and Faryab Three.
The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 49,484, Total deaths are 1,975 and the total recoveries are recorded 38,410.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 72,303,143 and the dead are reported to more than 1,613,445 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
