COVID; Afghanistan Reports 213 New Cases, Total Deaths Raise to 1,939
Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan has recorded 213 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 48,753 on Thursday.
Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 18 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 1,939.
The total number of active cases of #COVID-19 in the country stands at 8,593, as of Thursday.
The total #discharged_cases are at 38,221 with 71 new discharges in the last 24 hours.
It is mentionable that until now 165,463 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 68,921,974 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,569,880 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
