Afghanistan Reports 228 New COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours
Ministry of Public Health reported Monday, that out of 1,251 samples, 228 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.
At least 130,585 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 6,676 known active cases in the country.
According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 44 individuals have Recovered from #COVID-19, and 15 individuals are reported dead.
The new cases recorded in Kabul are 94, Herat 51, Kandahar Nine, Balkh 26, Takhar 20, Kunduz Nine, Baghlan Three, Parwan Four, Badghis Three, Logar Three, Wardak Three, Farah Two, and Zabul One.
The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 43,468, Total deaths are 1,632 and the total recoveries are recorded 35,136.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 54,418,895 and the dead are reported to more than 1,317,707 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
