Imran Khan, Pakistan’s Prime Minister is set to visit Kabul this week, Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Saturday.
A spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Gran Hewad said, Security, peace, strengthening political relations, trade, and economical ties are to be discussed during the trip.
Hewad added the visit is planned after a telephonic conversation with President Ghani Last month.
This would the Khan’s first visit to Kabul, last year President Ghani visited Pakistan and held talks with Imran Khan and other political officials.
The visit announcement comes at a time, that Afghan peace negotiations are facing delay due to disagreements over disputed points.
