World Leaders Plaudit Joe Biden Win as U.S. 46th President

World leaders have congratulated democrat Joe Biden on his victory as the 46th President of the United States, making Donald Trump the first one-term president since 1990s.

Afghan President Ghani congratulated on his historical win in a tweet, saying “Afghanistan looks forward to continuing/deepening our multilayered strategic partnership w/ the United States.”

Head of High Council for National Reconciliation, Abdullah Abdullah congratulated Biden and Harris for their momentous Win, Abdullah tweeted.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has congratulated Biden and said he would work with him to bring peace to Afghanistan and the region.

Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, also congratulated Biden and his deputy, Kamala Harris, and expressed his willingness to work with them for the region.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed his greetings and congratulated Biden, noting that Canada and the United States are close friends, and said he was “very interested” in working with the elected president.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel also congratulated Joe Biden on becoming the 46th president, her applause was mostly to Kamala Harris, the first female vice president in American history, the German leader expressed her willingness to work with them.

Joe Biden is a Democratic candidate in the US presidential election, narrowly defeating his rival and former President Donald Trump.

Biden will serve as the 46th president of the United States of America.
