Azerbaijani and Afghan ministries discuss cooperation issues

The sides discussed the prospects for employees of the Afghan relevant agencies to study at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the future.

Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kemaleddin Heydarov has met with a delegation headed by Afghan Interior Minister Ghulam Mojtaba Patang at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency situations today, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported today.

During the meeting, Heydarov informed the guests about the ministry and its structures, as well as the projects undertaken by the Ministry. He described the work on the development of relations with regional and international organizations, as well as with the relevant organizations of the countries with rich experience in the field of governing the emergency situations.
Afghan Interior Minister stressed the importance of strengthening the cooperation between the relevant state agencies of the two countries.

The sides discussed the prospects for employees of the Afghan relevant agencies to study at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the future.

After the meeting, the delegation members got acquainted with the activity of the Centre on the Governance of Critical Situations under the ministry.
