People demands the U.S forces to withdraw quickly from Maidan Wardak

The angry demonstrators said U.S forces carried out operations in which our children were missed.

Kabul, (AVA)- On Saturday, demonstrators from Wardak Province staged a noisy demonstration demanding U.S Special Operations troops withdrawal from Maidan Wardak province.

Letting out slogans "Down with U.S" and "Long Live Islam and Independent Afghanistan", protestors said U.S forces should leave the province as soon as possible.

According to Afghan Voice Agency (AVA), the angry demonstrators said U.S forces carried out operations in which our children were missed.

The Maidan Wardak residents said U.S Special Operations troops committed a great number of crimes such as massacre, beating and bothering residents.

Thousands of demonstrators rallied until parliament building asking the government to take quick measures; otherwise, they will take other actions like blocking the Kabul-Ghazni highway.

This demonstration came as two thousands of Maidan Wardak people had staged a peaceful rally calling for Mr. Karzai’s order to be obeyed.

Demonstrators warned they will widely uprise against foreign troops unless the president orders are obeyed.

President Karzai ordered the U.S Special Operations troops to leave Maidan Wardak in two weeks but the order is still disobeyed after the deadline was finished.
