President Barack Obama met with the Afghan spy chief in the US hospital where has been admitted for futher treatment.

US president Barack Obama visited wounded Afghan intelligence National Directorate of Security (NDS) chief Asadullah Khalid.

According to a statement released by Afghan embassy in United Kingdom president Barack Obama met with the Afghan spy chief in the US hospital where has been admitted for futher treatment.
The source did not disclose further information regarding the name of the hospital where Asadullah Khalid is being treated.

Obama quoted in the statement released by Afgahn embassy in London said, “The health condition of Asadullah Khalid is satisfactory and he is expecting that he recovers and returns back to Afghanistan.”

Afghan intelligence chief Asadullah Khalid was wounded in an assassination attempt by a fake Taliban peace envoy, just months after he took office, as Kabul grapples with the impending departure of NATO combat troops. (AOP)
