14 insurgents killed and detained during the national police operations

The national police forces carried out 5 cleaning up operations throughout Afghanistan over the past 24 hours.

Kabul, (AVA)- The national police forces carried out 5 cleaning up operations throughout Afghanistan over the past 24 hours.

The operations leaving 6 insurgents killed and 8 others detained were carried out by national army, national security and coalition troops in Helmand, Sar-e-Pul, Kunduz, Ghazni and Kandahar.

Some heavy and light weapons such as one PK machine gun, 6 AK-47, 6 heavy gun bullets, 14 mines, 46 kgs of explosive device, 2 radio handset and 4 motorcycles were seized by national police forces.

The national police officials defused 7 different mine in Nuristan, Faryab and Zabol while patrolling in these provinces.

The officials of 101 shaheen national army commandment arrested 3 suspects of murders in securioty zones 5th and 11th and their cases are investigating by police.
