Resilient Inter hit back in Bari
Goran Pandev scored his first goal since rejoining FC Internazionale Milano as the Nerazzurri recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 with AS Bari in a game which featured three penalties.
Inter fightback
Bari had drawn with José Mourinho's team at San Siro on the opening day of the season but seemed set to go one better and inflict a rare Serie A defeat on the visitors when on-loan Brazilian forward Barreto scored from the spot on 60 and 63 minutes. That merely served to spur Inter into action, however, and they reduced their arrears shortly after through Pandev, the FYR Macedonia striker tucking the ball away after Mario Balotelli's long-range strike had deflected into his path. Diego Milito chalked up his 12th league goal of the campaign with the third spot-kick of the match after 74 minutes. Inter are now nine points clear of AC Milan, though the Rossoneri − at home to AC Siena on Sunday − have two games in hand.

Two-goal Larrivey
In the early kick-off, Joaquín Larrivey scored twice as Cagliari Calcio climbed to sixth with a 3-0 home victory against AS Livorno Calcio. The Argentinian striker headed the Sardinian outfit in front on three minutes, his effort from Andrea Cossu's free-kick squirming through the legs of goalkeeper Alfonso De Luca. His second arrived five minutes after the break when he lobbed De Luca, after the Livorno No1 had come sliding out of the penalty area to thwart Alessandro Matri, while Jeda made it three just after the hour mark with a far-post header following a knock-back by Andrea Lazzari.
