Air Raid Kills Nine Daesh Insurgents In Nangarhar
The ministry of interior said that weapons and vehicles belonging to Daesh were also destroyed in the air strike.

AVA- Nine Daesh insurgents were killed in an Afghan Air Forces airstrike on Sunday which targeted militant hideouts in Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province.

Weapons and vehicles belonging to Daesh were also destroyed during the air raid, the ministry of interior said in a statement on Monday.

In addition, Afghan National Police (ANP) on Sunday also foiled four IEDs attack plots in Nangarhar province.

The IEDs were placed by insurgents in Jalalabad City, Muhmand Dara and Bati Koot districts.

“Discoveries like this demonstrate the ever-increasing capability of the Afghan National Security Forces to protect the civilians from indiscriminate IED attacks,” the statement read.

The statement also called on members of the public to report suspicious activities and criminal acts by calling 119.
