Safi Airlines launches flight from Mazar-e-Sharif to Kabul

Afghanistan’s private international airline, Safi Airways, launched its flight from Kabul to Mazar-e-Sharif on 16 November 2013.

The flight operates Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays.

Safi Airways regional manager for Afghanistan and India said the flights will depart from Kabul 8 am local time and arrive at Mazar-e-Sharif at 9;5 am and on the return the flight departs at 9;50 am and arrive in Kabul at 10;55.

“We are delighted to meet our customers need as we continue our drive to be Afghanistan’s favorite airline. In the coming months, we intend to announce operations to other destinations in Afghanistan,” he added.

Safi Airways offers flights to Dubai, Delhi and Islamabad on the international sector and Herat and Mazar-e-Sharif on the domestic sector.

The airline company is the first Afghan airline to be certified with IOTA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).

Safi also operates in compliance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements and has the credit of first Afghan carrier complying with the strict International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations.

IOSA certification allows Safi Airways to work closely with other international airlines in the region and extend its carriers reach on the global aviation arena.
