MC-12 crash takes the lives of 3 Americans in Afghanistan:
The MC-12 crash last night in Afghanistan claimed the lives of three Americans on board the aircraft. According to officials, the crash was not due to an enemy strike, but an aircraft mishap.

Two of the Americans killed were part of an elite International Security Assistance Force service members and one of the victims was an ISAF civilian who perished in this crash.

The MC-12 flies reconnaissance missions as the surveillance technology systems in this craft allows surveillance to go on in a few different areas at once.

Web Pro News reports that contrary to what some of the folks out there may think, most of the aircraft deaths in Afghanistan have been nothing more than accidents. This is what the reports have come back saying in a majority of the aircraft crashes.

Helicopters are used as one of the main modes of transportation in that country with the U.S. military because of the rough terrain and because of the IEDs that are frequently laid out in the roads that the military vehicles use.
