Armed Man Beheads 10 People in Kabul City

AVA- At least ten people were mysteriously killed by unknown armed in Kabul city in what appears to be a mysterious murder incident amid a rampant rise in criminal related incidents in the city.

The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning after armed individuals stormed into a house and killed at least ten of the family by beheading them.

Kabul deputy police Chief Haqanwaz Haqyar confirmed the incident but did not elaborate further saying an investigation is underway in this regard.

Haqyar further added that the incident has taken place in Panjsad Family area in the vicinity of the ۱۵th police district of the city.

However, another security official said preliminary reports indicate the incident has links with internal issues between the two families.

This comes as there has been a sharp rise in criminal-related incidents in Kabul city and other key cities of the country during the recent years.

The police forces in Kabul last week arrested at least ten people over a clash that left at least seven people dead or wounded, the security officials said late on Tuesday.

The individuals were arrested in connection to an incident that took place a while ago in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

The criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials are saying that the men managed to escape to Kabul after killing five people and injuring two others during a clash over land issues.

The officials further added that the men were hiding in Paghman district and were arrested after the police forces launched an operation in coordination with the Nangarhar police.
