Kazakhstan plans to export part of the production from 4th refinery to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan, said chairman of the board of the KazMunayGas JSC Sayat Mynbayev during the media briefing at the Central Communications Service in Astana.
The fourth refinery of Kazakhstan is being constructed in the south of the country. “Anyways, the part of the production of the plant will be exported. Construction of the plant will take 5-6 years,” said Mr. Mynbayev.
“The potential markets of the fourth refinery is the south, in particular Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, where the Russian Federation exports its production volumes. We will have to compete in these markets,” concluded the head of the KazMunayGas.
