Preliminary reports suggest at least five young men who are school children were killed following the incident.
No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the attack.
This comes as at least three people were killed and four others were injured following a rocket attack by militants on a football ground in Maiwan district of Kandahar province on Saturday.
Local officials in Kandahar province said the boys were busy with playing football when militants attacked the football ground with rockets.
