Unknown armed men shot dead the principal of a high school in Kabul city in the early hours of Monday morning.

Officials in Kabul Police Headquarters confirmed that gunmen shot dead the principal of Abdul Ghafoor Nadeem High School in Hesa-e Dowom Khair Khana of Kabul city.
The officials further added that the gunmen escaped the area shooting the school principal dead.
However, they said the police forces have launched an investigation to find out the purpose behind the killing of the principal.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the killing of principal so far.
