Pakistan arrests Afghan national allegedly carrying 23 official passports

Pakistani authorities on Friday arrested an Afghan national who allegedly carried 23 official passports.


AVA- Azeemullah was seized at Islamabad airport where he was boarding a flight to Kabul.

Pakistan’s newspaper Dawn reported that the suspect was taken into custody after an intelligence agency pointed him out.

Of the nearly two dozen passports, 22 belonged to Afghan government officials and one to an Afghan civilian. All passports were stamped with Japanese visas.

The incident at Islamabad airport comes a day after Pakistani official was arrested over sexual harassment of an Afghan woman at the airport. The official was arrested.
